Hong Jeong, LCSW #87224,
I’m an EMDR certified therapist specializing in treating social anxiety and childhood trauma. I received my Master of Social Worker from University of Washington. I previously worked as a therapist at a community mental health level and provided assessments, diagnosis, and individual, family, and group therapy for clients ages 18 to 59.
Through my clinical and personal experience, I have become well experienced in working with adults suffering with trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, and addiction. I believe that each client is unique and my job as a therapist is to help develop Mind and Body Awareness of individuals' uniqueness and self-efficacy.
I believe that accepting, validating, encouraging, and supporting each client is an essential part of the therapeutic relationship. My approach is straightforward so that you can identify your old habit and gain the tools to manage stress and improve the overall quality of your life.
Are you ready to begin your healing journey?
Throughout my career as a therapist, I had the privilege of assessing and treating people from all walks of life in terms of age, race, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. I am a culturally competent therapist, especially with minority populations who struggle with multicultural issues. I can also provide therapy in Korean.
